Anticancer mechanism of salinomycin

Abstract: Salinomycin is a chemotherapeutic drug commonly used to inhibit the growth of tumor and specifically kill the cancer stem cells (CSC). The anticancer effect of salinomycin has attracted extensive attention at home and abroad, whihc is realized by inducing cancer cell apoptosis, suppressing cancer cell proliferation and invasion and reducing drug resistance.
