摘要: 与传统的二维(2D)培养系统相比,体外的三维细胞培养(3DCC)系统能够更准确地模仿癌组织的微环境,与动物实验相比,3DCC系统实验周期短,并可以进行实时或固定成像。因此,3DCC体外模型填补了2D模型和动物模型之间的间隙,在肿瘤学研究中发展迅速。在3DCC系统中生长的癌细胞的形态、侵袭迁移能力、放化疗耐受性与在2D培养系统中的癌细胞相比有明显差别。3DCC技术的发展为癌症生物学、组织工程以及药物或基因筛选提供了一个平台。

Abstract: Compared to the conventional two-dimensional (2D) culture, in vitro three-dimensional cell culture (3DCC) can mimic the microenvironment more exactly. Compared to in vivo animal models, 3DCC is less time-consuming and can be real-time recorded. Thus, 3DCC fills the gap between 2D culture and animal models, which is used for oncologic research quickly. In 3DCC, the characteristics of cancer cells, such as morphology, the capability of invasion and migration and the resistance to chemo-radiotherapy, are quite different from those in 2D culture. The development of 3DCC technology provides a platform for oncology, organization engineering and gene or drug screening.
