Abstract: The treatment of esophageal cancer is difficult in clinic. Recently, the development of immune checkpoint inhibitors has brought the immunotherapies to a new age. In predicting the curative effect of biomarkers, programmed cell deathligand 1, tumor mutation burden and microsatellite instability could promisingly predict the effect of the immune checkpoint inhibitors.
