Abstract: Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a common malignant tumor. The efficiency of early stage patients with radiotherapy alone can reach 90%, the locally advanced patients still need the chemoradiotherapy treatment, molecular targeted therapy, traditional Chinese medicine therapy and so on. Intensity modulated radiotherapy has prominent advantages in nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which can significantly improve the curative effect and reduce the adverse reactions and also improve the quality of life.
