Abstract: Esophageal cancer related gene 4 (ECRG4) serves as a tumor suppressor gene through interacting with NF-κB and p53 pathways. Multiple studies have demonstrated that the down-regulated expression of ECRG4 occurs in a variety of cancer types, indicating a potential application of ECRG4 as a molecular diagnostic marker as well as a therapeutic target
