荜茇明碱抗肿瘤作用及其机制

Antitumor effect of piplartine and its mechanism

摘要: 荜茇明碱是从胡椒科植物中分离出的生物碱(酰胺类)天然产物,具有多种药理作用。近年的研究发现其对多种肿瘤的生长具有抑制作用,是一种潜在的抗肿瘤药物。荜茇明碱能够抑制肿瘤细胞的增殖、诱导细胞周期的阻滞并且促进肿瘤细胞的凋亡。最新的研究表明荜茇明碱的抗肿瘤机制可能与其激活活性氧应激途径密切相关。

Abstract: Piplartine is an alkaloids/amide component of Piper species, having diverse pharmacological and biological activities. Recent studies have indicated that piplartine has inhibitory effects on several kinds of tumors and is a potential antitumor drug. It can inhibit the proliferation of tumor cells, cause cell cycle arrest and induce apoptosis. More investigations suggest targeting the reactive oxygen species(ROS) stress-response pathway is closely related to its antitumor activity.
