Abstract: Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been found to home to tissues/organs with inflammation, the sites of growing tumors, as well as to participate in the formation of the tumor micro-environment, suggesting that MSCs play important roles in tumor growth and metastasis. To study the roles and mechanisms of MSCs in tumor growth and metastasis will provide new insights into tumorigenesis and tumor target therapy.
