Therapeutic application of S-1 in advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck

Abstract: In the therapeutic application of  head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), S-1 is used to combine with other chemotherapeutics or even with radiotherapy to constitute chemoradiotherapy regimens. Adverse effects are well tolerated. Regimens containing S-1 are wildly used to control distant metastasis as well as local recurrence. The studies of treatment also show good application value.
