Abstract: DNMT1,the main member of the DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) family,  plays a core role  in maintaining and regulating tumor cell genomewide and the local area methylation. DNMT1 is highly expressed in gynecological malignancies, which leads to abnormal DNA methylation of genes, especially high methylation of tumor suppressor genes, gene expression silencing, and malignant cell growth.
