Cyberknife treatment for nonsmall cell lung cancer

Abstract: Surgery is the main treatment means for early stage nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC), radiotherapy is the alternative choice for the patient who has surgical contraindications or rejects operation. Cyberknife is a new stereotactic radiotherapy, which has two functions: radiosurgery and radiotherapy. Cyberknife has a remarkable clinical result in the treatment of NSCLC by using realtime image guidance system and breathing tracking system to provide highdose and highprecision irradiation.
